Affiliation (7th Plugtests)

TASSTA MCX supports group-related features defined in Mission Critical Push To Talk (MCPTT) call control [TS 24.379] and Mission Critical Data (MCData) signalling control [TS 24.282] specifications.

The user can become a group member explicitly, by informing the MCX service about which groups he / she would like to be affiliated to. Explicit affiliations remain in effect until the user removes or changes them, or signs out of the service.

Implicit affiliations are performed automatically, by joining a user to certain groups after logging on to the network. The affiliation is ended when when the user signs out.

The user can also join another user to the group, remove it from the group, or request another user to join the group.

TASSTA participated in the following affiliation tests:

  • MCPTT User subscribes to its own affiliation (client and server)
  • MCPTT User subscribes to the affiliation of another user (client and server)
  • MCPTT User requests its affiliation to a set of groups (client and server)
  • MCPTT User requests the affiliation of other User to a set of groups in mandatory mode (client and server)
  • MCPTT User requests the affiliation of other User to a set of groups in negotiated mode (client and server)
  • Affiliation change triggered by a functional-alias activation criteria (client and server)
  • Affiliation change triggered by a functional-alias deactivation criteria (client and server)
  • Affiliation change triggered by implicit affiliation in an on demand pre-arranged group call (client and server)
  • Affiliation change triggered by implicit affiliation during service authorization (client and server)
